OREANDA-NEWS. In May, the export of Russian oil supplied via the system of the company Transneft to ports on the Baltic and Black Seas may fall 1.6 times compared with April, to 1.35 million barrels per day. This was reported by Argus agency, citing a schedule of shipments.

From the Baltic ports Primorsk and Ust-Luga on May 1–10, companies plan to export 14 tanker lots, or 1 million barrels per day instead of 1.6 million barrels in April. 346 thousand barrels will leave Novorossiysk on the Black Sea on May 1–5, it is 44 % less than in April (the schedule for May 1–10 has not yet appeared).

The decline in exports is caused by the new OPEC+ deal to reduce oil production, concluded on April 12. Under its terms, Russia in May-June should reduce production by 1.8 million barrels, to 8.5 million barrels per day. Thus, a decrease in sea exports of 0.85 million barrels corresponds to half the mandatory reduction.
