OREANDA-NEWS Gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline increased by 43 percent in the first half of this year compared to the same period a year earlier. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the company's report.

The company traditionally does not provide absolute values, reports on deliveries to China relate only to records for a day and other, longer periods. The cost of supplies also remains a secret.

Earlier, RBC found out that the Ministry of Economic Development expects a higher price level for natural gas supplied to China via pipelines than previously predicted. Nevertheless, the indicator will gradually decrease. So, next year the average price is expected to be $ 261 per thousand cubic meters, in 2026 — $ 247.3, in 2027 - $ 235.4.

Meanwhile, the basic scenario of the forecast of socio-economic development published today, September 30, from the Ministry of Economic Development assumes that the average export price of Russian gas in 2025 will be $ 328.4 per thousand cubic meters (minus 16.6 percent, in 2025 - $ 304.5, in 2026 - $ 288.3, and in 2027 — 280.2 dollars).
