OREANDA-NEWS  Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the Czech Republic has spent more than five times more money on the purchase of Russian oil and gas than on assistance to Ukraine. This was reported by analysts from the European Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD).

It is clarified that the cost of raw materials from Russia amounted to 7 billion euros, and for assistance to Ukraine — 1.29 billion euros. Analysts stressed that the Czech Republic's oil imports brought Moscow more than 2.3 billion euros in tax revenues.

Earlier it was reported that London wanted to discuss with the G7 countries the effectiveness of the ceiling on oil prices from Russia and options for its revision due to changes in the global economy.
