IDGC of Centre is continuing training of personnel for rapid response to possible emergencies
To date, the company has created 939 first responding and restoration crews of distribution networks and 78 crews of the line service. 537 first responding mobile crews are on duty around the clock. If necessary, the maximum number of forces used by the company could reach 1,554 crews consisting of 7,849 highly qualified specialists and 2,537 vehicles.
In addition, IDGC of Centre created 90 crews of increased mobility of 530 people and 166 vehicles. This is a special first responding and restoration mobile reserve, formed of highly qualified employees, who received additional training. Mobile crews will allow the company to respond quickly to possible major technological violations at the time of maximum load, if necessary, in a timely manner to assist power companies in neighbouring regions.
"All the specialists of mobile crews were trained in the company’s branches and participated in emergency exercises. Mobile crews of IDGC of Centre are capable as quickly as possible to move to any region and quickly begin work to restore power supply," stressed First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin.
For temporary power supply to consumers in case of first responding and restoration operations IDGC of Centre prepared for the use 567standby power sources with a total capacity of over 20 megawatts.
