OREANDA-NEWS. For the second year in a row the Annual Report of IDGC of Centre was marked by the contest jury "LACP 2015 Spotlight Awards Global Communications Competition", organized by League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Asia). A total of about 1,000 companies, representing more than 20 countries, participated in the competition.

The Report of the Company for 2015 is among the best companies in the EMEA with revenues up to $10 billion. In the class "Utilities - Electric" the Annual Report won the Gold Award, the silver prize was given by the jury to the online version of the Report.

The Annual Report was also included in the top ten among Russian companies, which took part in the competition - the largest companies, leaders in the Russian market.

The company’s activity to provide reliable and quality supply of electricity was chosen as the leading topic of the 2015 report. The company, despite the difficult economic situation, conducts regular work on modernizing the material and technical base, the development of professional competencies of employees, innovations implementation.

In addition to standard content elements, three units were introduced in the annual report structure: contributions to the community, case studies of innovative projects, news feed of major regional projects. In addition, the report data are consolidated taking into account the recommendations of international guidelines for reporting on sustainable development GRI G4, which in the future will allow to move to an integrated format of the annual report.

"Our participation in such large independent competitions as LACP is an important and responsible event, an incentive to further improve corporate reporting," stressed Olga Kharchenko, Director of Corporate Governance of IDGC of Centre.
