OREANDA-NEWS. Specialists of the Security Department of IDGC of Centre sent an appeal to the law enforcement authorities of 11 regions of the company’s service area, the purpose of which is to prevent the activities of legal entities, entrepreneurs and individuals engaged in distribution of goods used for distortion of parameters of electricity meters.

According to the specialists of the Security Department of IDGC of Centre, now the Internet has a large number of information resources, advertising and offering for sale these products, which are capable to stop metering electricity, gas or water, and instructions for use.

One of the main priorities of the development of electric grid facilities of the country, provided by the Russian energy strategy for the period up to 2030, is to increase the efficiency of investment and reduce the level of losses. However, the program implementation to reduce losses in the grid is facing serious challenges and requires intervention and response from law enforcement agencies.
