OREANDA-NEWS. Naftogaz of Ukraine did not import gas to Ukraine in the second quarter of 2016. Naftogaz has restarted gas imports with its own funds in July.

Over the preceding three quarters, Ukraine imported 7.4 bcm of gas, of which 5.0 bcm came from European suppliers and the remaining 2.4 bcm coming from Russia.

The provided information is based on actual costs of Naftogaz confirmed by customs declarations submitted to relevant state bodies of Ukraine.

The company releases such quarterly statistics during the second month following the corresponding quarter.

Natural gas prices specified in the tables do not include the cost of capacity booking at the entry points to the gas transmission system of Ukraine. From 1 January 2016, the state regulator NUERC set this value at USD 12.47/tcm.

Naftogaz provides quarterly data on weighted average import prices and monthly data on imported gas volumes.
