IDGC of Centre Put New Substation "Factory" Into Operation
The new feeding centre will connect to electric grids an incubator, a facility for slaughtering and processing poultry, a feed plant, and feeding sites. The enterprise performance with full cycle of production will be 150 thousand tons of poultry meat a year. The poultry factory (its operation start is expected before the end of 2016) will have high-tech equipment with use of highly productive breeds and hybrids of poultry. The factory will create more than 2 thousand jobs.
The substation "Factory" is equipped with two power transformers with a total capacity of 32 MVA (2x16MVA). Their power is selected in such a way that in case of failure of one transformer the other one could take over the entire load of the power facility. The new feeding centre has the most modern power electrical equipment, which allows to provide the required reliability of electricity supply to consumers and reduce in the future repair and maintenance costs. It uses new and innovative developments in the field of remote control and IT-technologies. In addition to the substation for power supply of the new factory overhead and cable lines of 10 kV with a total length about 55 km were constructed.
"The implementation of the project for the construction of the substation "Factory" shows fruitful collaboration of IDGC of Centre and the Administration of the Tambov region. Creating in the region the modern power infrastructure, we contribute to the development of its economic potential, in this case - the agricultural sector, attracting investments, commissioning of new social facilities," stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Vladimir Syschikov.
