OREANDA-NEWS The Russian air defense forces have repelled the fourth consecutive attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack a gas storage facility at Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea using drones. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
"On March 26, at about 17.00, Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian aircraft-type attack UAV over the territory of Crimea near Cape Tarkhankut, the target of which was the ground equipment of the Glebovsky underground gas storage facility," the report said.
In addition, on the same day, the facility of the Rosseti Center branch, Bryanskenergo, was attacked. Due to the UAV attack, a 10 kV high-voltage line was disconnected, as a result, consumers in the Klimovsky district were de-energized.
"On March 27, at about 7 a.m. in the Bryansk region, as a result of targeted artillery fire at the facility of the Rosseti Center – Bryanskenergo branch, a complete transformer substation was disabled," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
This is the fourth attempt by the Kiev regime in a week to hit energy facilities in Crimea. The attacks continue despite the statements of the Kiev regime about the alleged cessation of attacks on Russian energy facilities.
