OREANDA-NEWS. Due to adverse weather conditions Head of the Crisis Management Centre of IDGC of Centre, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin decided to set a special operation mode in "Belgorodenergo", "Voronezhenergo", "Kurskenergo", "Lipetskenergo" and "Orelenergo".

As part of the special operation mode in each of the branches crisis management centres were set up, which are headed by their leaders. Special control over the work of power facilities was set, performance of routine repairs has been stopped or minimized. Information exchange has been organized with territorial subdivisions of EMERCOM and executive authorities, FGC UES, regional power grid companies. Forces and resources have been mobilized that are needed for rapid removal of possible technological disturbances. First responding and restoration crews have been put on duty around the clock. Redundant power supply sources have been made available.
