RusHydro is one of 4 Russian companies and the only Russian power generator included in the ranking.

For the purpose of the ranking Vigeo Eiris researched over 850 companies from 37 sectors and 31 countries in emerging markets. The Vigeo Eiris ranking methodology envisages assessement of a company by 38 criteria, divided into six key areas: Environment, Human Rights, Human Resources, Community Involvement, Business Behaviour, Corporate Governance.

The Vigeo Eiris ranking results are used by portfolio managers and SRI funds for investment portfolio assets redistribution for the purpose of maximizing investments in support of sustainable development.
