PetroPeru offers fuel oil cargo
PetroPeru is offering two fuel oil quality alternatives. One has typical sulphur content of 1.32pc, gravity of 11.4° API, viscosity of 618cst, and aluminum and silicon of 55ppm. The other has typical sulphur content of 1.38pc, gravity of 10.5° API, viscosity of 1,030cst and aluminum and silicon of 72ppm. The cargo is sold on an FOB basis and is priced off of New York Harbor 1pc sulphur residual fuel oil. Offers are accepted between 3pm and 4pm local time on 27 December with validity until 8pm on 28 December.
Peruvian residual fuel oil production was up 6pc to 10.83mn bl in the first nine months of the year, compared with 10.22mn bl during the same period in 2015. Repsol and YPF own the 100,000 b/d Pampilla refinery which produced 5.49mn bl of fuel oil. PetroPeru owns the 65,000 b/d Talara refinery which produced 4.23mn bl, the 12,000 b/d Conchan refinery which produced 708,633 bl and the 10,500 b/d Iquitos refinery which made 406,433 bl of resid. Peruvian residual fuel oil exports were up by 10pc to 7.64mn bl in January – September, compared with 6.92mn bl during the same period last year. Of these, PetroPeru exported 3mn bl.
