New advertising campaign for Gazprom Neft G-Energy oils
OREANDA-NEWS. Gazpromneft-Lubricants, operator of the Gazprom Neft lubricants business, has launched a major advertising campaign for its G-Energy engine oils brand. Launched on national TV channels across Russia and the Internet on 17 October 2016, proactive international media support is also planned.
The main protagonist of the new 30-second video is virtuoso car impressionist Daniel Jovanov, made famous thanks to his participation in popular TV show "Australia’s Got Talent", and in possession of a unique gift: the ability to reproduce - with absolute accuracy - the sound of car engines running.
The key message for the G-Energy brand - "Adapting to any situation" - remains unchanged, with advertising agency Grey Moscow developing a creative concept around this for the new video, from French director Julen Rocher. Filming took place in Moscow. The screenplay shows the actor, playing the role of a car engine, overcoming impassable roads, sandstorms, and glacial snowdrifts - conditions typical in off-road races: competitive off-road racing being something Gazpromneft Lubricants has supported for over five years, and through which testing of G-Energy oils is constantly ongoing, on various race courses - the data obtained from these forming the basis for new high-tech formulations.
Roman Zimovets, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Strategic Development, Gazpromneft Lubricants Limited, commented: "We were looking for something out of the ordinary, because the task facing us was to produce a genuinely creative film, with a clear concept, starkly different from anything we’d done before. You’ll appreciate, the production of motor oils is a somewhat conservative industry, and heavily stereotypical; producing a film like this one is a real breakthrough. The cutting-edge technologies used in making the film, as well as the original computer graphics, produced by the Faust Ltd studio, serve to underline the innovation and effectiveness of the premium motor oils produced under the G-Energy brand."
