Isabel Cruz named Diversity Leader for GE
OREANDA-NEWS. October 05, 2016. GE announced today that Isabel Cruz was named Diversity Leader for GE effective January 1, 2017.
Isabel has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resource leadership roles. Most recently she was the Senior HR Manager for Business Development and Finance, providing strategic HR leadership for 16,000 employees across GE. Prior to that role, Isabel held a variety of leadership roles across GE from Power to Capital to NBCU. Her experience in talent and pipeline development; prior work as GE Capital’s Diversity and Community Relations leader; and two years as the national co-leader for the Hispanic Forum makes her a natural fit for this role.
Susan Peters, vice president, human resources, GE said, “At GE we see diversity as essential to our productivity, creativity and competitive advantage. Isabel’s track record of leadership at GE will help us to expand our talent pipeline and further integrate diversity into our culture.”
Isabel succeeds Deb Elam, who will retire from GE after 30 years of leadership at the end of the year.
GE is a diverse company - in its portfolio, global footprint, and most importantly, people. GE recruits and employs a diverse workforce of the best minds in the world. Diversity fuels the company’s innovation and is essential to productivity, meritocracy, and lasting competitive advantage.
