Gazprom and OMK address prospects for further cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Anatoly Sedykh, Chairman of the Management Board of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), took place in Moscow today.
It was noted that the long-term cooperation between the companies had strategic importance. Pipe products made by OMK comply with high standards and requirements set by Gazprom. Specifically, OMK supplies pipes for the Company’s key gas transmission projects, including the construction of the Ukhta – Torzhok 2, Power of Siberia, Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream gas pipelines.
Alexey Miller and Anatoly Sedykh discussed the prospects for further cooperation, particularly the development and production of new types of pipe products for Gazprom.
United Metallurgical Company (OMK) is one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of metal products for energy, transport and industrial companies. OMK consists of five plants: Vyksa Steel Works (Nizhny Novgorod Region), Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (Republic of Tatarstan), Trubodetal (Chelyabinsk Region), Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant (Republic of Bashkortostan), and Chusovoy Metallurgical Works (Perm Region).
