Gazprom Neft supplies of lubricants to Central Asia up by one third
OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom Neft - operator of the Gazprom Neft lubricants business - increased supplies of G‑Energy and Gazpromneft-branded lubricants to Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan by 34.6 percent in 2016, reaching 35,000 tonnes.
The company consistently strengthened its collaboration with major mining, metallurgical, energy and agricultural enterprises in Kazakhstan - including with the Aktyubinsk Copper Company, Eurasian Resources Group and Kazakhmys Corporation - throughout 2016.
A further driver in increasing sales of premium-class lubricants and service fluids was the opening of three service centres in Kazakhstan under the G-Energy Service brand, operating in accordance with the inclusive standards of the company’s international programme for the development of its service centre network.
Gazpromneft-Lubricants CEO Alexander Trukhan commented: "We have noted the constantly increasing demand for our products throughout the countries of Central Asia - the result of further improving service facilities, which demands the use of high-technology lubricants, endorsed by leading vehicle and equipment manufacturers. We are committed to continuing to develop priority business areas throughout the region in 2017 and plan, in particular, to open five more G-Energy Service stations."
