OREANDA-NEWS. IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division took part in the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche, dedicated to the careful attitude to the nature and energy resources of the planet. The city festival, which gathered hundreds of Belgorod residents, was held on Saturday in the central park of culture and recreation named after Lenin.

On the "boulevard" of modern energy-efficient technologies the power engineers consulted citizens on energy saving issues, demonstrated the visual effect of using various types of lighting devices, offered to sign declarations and petitions on the accelerated transition to energy efficient lighting and personal contribution to the development of our country’s competitive economy through the implementation of modern technologies. For schoolchildren they held fascinating physical and chemical experiments, competitions, flash mobs and quizzes with the delivery of diplomas and gifts. Children and adults were happy to take pictures in a specially organized photo zone with the event hashtag.

The culmination of the holiday was the awarding of diplomas to winners and prize-winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian Media Contest, press services of the companies of the Fuel and Energy Complex and regional administrations "MediaTEK". IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division with the project "ABC of electrical safety" took the first place.

The All-Russia Festival of Energy Saving is held in Russia for the second time. This year the initiative was supported by 75 regions, including the Belgorod region. All September, thematic energy-saving lessons and open doors days are held in kindergartens and schools. Belgorodenergo’s engineers act as ambassadors of energy saving. The festival will end in October in Sochi at the World Festival of Youth and Students.
