NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NRG) and JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation (JX Nippon) have completed construction, on-budget and on-schedule, of Petra Nova, the world’s largest post-combustion carbon capture system.

The enterprises of TATNEFT Croup of Companies produced 28,686, 030 tonnes of crude oil in twelve months of 2016 (105.3 per cent, +1,437,512 tonnes) with PJSC TATNEFT accounting for 28,332,674 tonnes (105.2 процента, +1,405,703 tonnes).

Gazprom Neft subsidiary Gazpromneft Orenburg has discovered a new field — the Novosamarskoye — in the Sorochinsky district of the Orenburg Oblast. Initial oil-in-place reserves are estimated at more than eight million tonnes.
