OREANDA-NEWS  The government has signed cooperation agreements with companies on five Roadmaps of high-tech areas, the Cabinet of Ministers website reports.

In particular, an agreement was signed with Rostelecom PJSC, Rostec State Corporation and KINS Group LLC (Yadro brand) in the direction of "Modern and promising mobile communication networks".

The implementation of this roadmap ensures the development of domestic technologies and equipment production, phased import substitution necessary for the introduction of promising network solutions, the development and promotion of solutions to ensure information security in modern communication networks, market formation and stimulating demand for domestic technological solutions and equipment for the mobile market, the message says.

Rostelecom President Mikhail Oseevsky called the creation and production of equipment and solutions for 4G and 5G mobile communications a priority task. According to him, the agreement provides for the organization of work on the entire life cycle of products - from development and testing to the provision of final communication services to citizens and businesses with constant interaction of manufacturers, operators and consumers.

Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov said that KNS Group's area of responsibility will include the production of equipment for mobile operators, and Rostec's area of responsibility will include communication equipment for departmental and private networks.
