The service team said, that such channels do not have a limit on the number of participants, and therefore millions of users can listen to them. Thus, you can create almost your own radio station in the messenger.

To create a voice chat, the channel administrator must click on the three dots icon and select «Start voice chat». In addition, channel managers will be able to make voice chat recordings and save them as podcasts. In this way, they will be able to share what happened with those participants who were unable to listen to the chat at a particular time.

«After you stop recording, the audio file will be placed in your chat Favorites. Participants can find out that a chat is being recorded by the red dot next to it's name», the company's blog says.

If the user does not participate in the discussion as a speaker, he can «raise his hand». Administrators will be able to see who asked for the floor by reading the «About» information next to each participant. They will also be able to send speakers direct links to the voice chat, so that they do not have to wait for them to turn on the microphone in the discussion.

Channel owners will also be able to participate in voice chats on behalf of their channel, rather than a personal profile. This way they can avoid unwanted attention to their personal account.
