OREANDA-NEWS. The Ukrainian hacker group Ukrainian Cyber ​​Alliance on its Twitter account supported a campaign to raise funds for the Ukrainian army. This was reported to Gazeta.ru by Oleg Bakhtadze-Karnaukhov, an independent darknet researcher.

“For the collection, the savelife.in.ua site is used. It provides an opportunity to donate money to the needs of the army through an anonymous bitcoin wallet. And the activity of this wallet in the last few days is breaking all records, hundreds of receipts,” he said.

According to the expert, today at 14:32 someone anonymously transferred to the site all the funds from their wallet in the amount of $141,000, almost a third of all receipts. The total amount of proceeds reached $578,000.

“These wallets are often used to launder money, including money obtained from crime, such as organized crime. Including the hackers themselves can enrich themselves, ”concluded the darknet researcher.

savelife.in.ua also raises funds through the Patreon crowdfunding platform. On this service, you can choose different levels of support, which are accompanied by images. For example, depositing $4 per month means a patron. For the projectile you need to deposit $19, the bomb will cost $49. For a tank and a corvette, you will need to pay $299 and $999 per month, respectively.
