"These are technical measures," he said when asked about the reasons for the 4G outage.

When asked if such a thing is planned in other regions of the Russian Federation, Shadaev replied negatively, but did not rule out such a possibility.
"Not yet, but it is quite possible. No, this is not an exercise, we have not learned anything," the minister said.

In the Novgorod region, LTE 4G Internet will be turned off at night from January 25 to January 30 due to technical work, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development of the region reported earlier.
