OREANDA-NEWS Rostelecom plans to put into operation more than 6 thousand server racks by the end of 2023, which is 4.6 times more than a year earlier, follows from a comment by RIA Novosti Vice President of the company for Information Technology Kirill Menshov and explanations of the press service.

"This year we have commissioned more than 3,000 racks in the data center, and the total volume - more than 6,000 new racks - we plan to put into operation by the end of the year," Menshov said.

"At the moment, Rostelecom has more than 1,500 free racks for equipment placement across the country," he added.

The company's press service noted that last year the company commissioned 1300 racks. "Servers are produced by Yadro, Aquarius and other companies. But the biggest ones are Aquarius and Yadro," Menshov said.
