OREANDA-NEWS. Roskomnadzor requires Clubhouse to restore access to the account of the Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov and explain the reasons for the blocking, the ministry said in a statement.

In a letter sent by the department to the social network, it says: "Roskomnadzor sent a letter to the owner of the social network Clubhouse, demanding to restore access to information in the account of Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov, as well as explain the reasons for restricting access to it."

"Such actions of the Clubhouse administration violate the rights of citizens to access information and its free distribution," the Roskomnadzor noted.

Earlier, Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov said on the Telegram channel that he was again blocked in the Clubhouse application.

According to Solovyov, there were no violations on his part.

"Is Clubhouse against freedom of speech? The result is blocking," the TV presenter wrote. The social networking service did not respond to his letter, he added.

Clubhouse already blocked Soloviev on February 15th. At the same time, the TV presenter did not broadcast a single broadcast on the platform.

If the platforms ignore the relevant warnings, this will entail the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 50 to 100 thousand rubles, on officials - from 200 to 400 thousand rubles, on legal entities - from 600 thousand to 1 million rubles.
