OREANDA-NEWS. The number of registered users of the Moscow Mayor's portal mos.ru has reached 14 million. Sergey Sobyanin himself announced this on his personal page on the VKontakte social network. According to Rosstat, the population of Moscow at the beginning of 2021 was about 12 million 655 thousand people.

According to Sobyanin, mos.ru currently offers more than 380 online services to its visitors. According to the mayor, residents of the city are "one of the most advanced in the world" users: 90% of Muscovites go online, and 72% of them use digital services.

The head of the Moscow government recalled that the first digital service in the capital 10 years ago was the issuance of a taxi work permit. A little later, as stated on the mos.ru website, an electronic enrollment of the child in the first grade and the receipt of a single payment document for payment of housing and communal services were added.

Anyone with an email address and phone number can register an account on the portal. According to the counter on the website itself, more than 500,000 people have visited it today.

Probably, such a large number of mos.ru users is connected with the registration on the portal of residents of other regions, primarily the Moscow region. In particular, such registration became necessary last year during the introduction of restrictive measures to counter the coronavirus pandemic - digital passes were issued through mos.ru to travel around the capital.
