OREANDA-NEWS. After the blocking of Instagram* (the company that owns Meta was recognized as an extremist organization), bloggers are twice as likely to choose VKontakte than Telegram, TASS reports, citing a study by analysts from the Perfluence platform.
“During the period from February 15 to March 16, the dynamics of posting activity on the platform showed that the number of posts on Instagram decreased by 30% (from 4109 posts per day to 1622). At the same time, the share of bloggers' presence in the social network decreased by no more than 15%. It is important to note that the number of daily publications on Instagram decreased by about 1.5 thousand due to the departure of some clients from both the information field and the Instagram network,” the study states.
Analysts have collected up to 300 thousand publications, while out of 140 thousand bloggers collaborating with the Perfluence platform, the majority are bloggers on Instagram. 35,000 people blog on VK, nearly 7,000 on Telegram, and another 6,000 on YouTube.
Also, a significant part of bloggers lived in TikTok, however, after the introduction of restrictions on publishing content on this social network, the number of publications decreased by 30 times. The main reason for this was the departure of advertisers, and not the restrictions that were overcome by bloggers after two or three days.
Earlier, Rossgram presented a pilot version of the application.
