OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, and QIWI payment system have launched co-branded Visa QIWI Wallet. Now the company’s subscribers have new opportunities for making payments from mobile account.

Visa QIWI Wallet provides Tele2 subscribers with special conditions to pay goods and services of several thousand suppliers from their mobile account. The fee was cut down to 1% for most payments made by Tele2 clients. Until July 2016, they will not be charged a fee for topping up their e-wallet from mobile account if the transaction does not exceed 5000 rubles.

Co-branded Visa QIWI Wallet is available to Tele2 subscribers at qiwi.ru and via application for Android- and iOS-based devices. The web interface of the QIWI service is designed in compliance with Tele2 brand, the application’s design will be upgraded in May. Tele2 subscribers that already use QIWI services will not have to make any special settings: all additional options will pop up at the desktop after the client accesses the system.

Visa QIWI Wallet allows users to transfer money and make everyday payments − from those for school lunches to housing and utility services, make online purchases in Russia and abroad. Only a phone number is needed for registration. Clients may choose one of three ways to make payments: mobile account, e-wallet and credit card.
