Verizon launches retail notes program
OREANDA-NEWS. Verizon Communications Inc. (Verizon) (NYSE, NASDAQ: VZ) today announced that it has filed a prospectus supplement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the issuance of corporate notes through Incapital LLC's InterNotes® program, which is targeted at retail investors.
Verizon InterNotes® will be senior unsecured obligations of Verizon and may be offered on a recurring basis. The notes may be issued with fixed or floating interest rates, in minimum denominations of $1,000 and integral multiples of $1,000 and with maturities of nine months or more. The full principal amount of the notes will be payable on the specified maturity date unless the notes are earlier redeemed or repaid in accordance with their terms. The specific terms of the notes will be set prior to the time of sale and described in a pricing supplement.
