OREANDA-NEWS The High-Precision Complexes Holding delivered the first batch of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles to the Russian Armed Forces in 2025. The holding announced this in its Telegram channel.

"The standard equipment of the new equipment supplied under the state defense order includes modern protective equipment that has proven itself in real combat operations," the report says.

It is noted that all the machines have passed a full test cycle. The holding stressed that enterprises specializing in the production of BMP-3s operate six days a week. At the same time, some sites produce products around the clock.

The tracked BMP-3 is designed to deliver personnel to the battlefield. The vehicle carries a 100 mm cannon, a 30 mm automatic cannon and machine guns. Infantry fighting vehicles with spaced aluminum armor are additionally equipped with overhead armor and lattice screens.

In October 2024, Kurganmashzavod reported that production of BMP-3 and BMD-4M amphibious assault vehicles increased by 20 percent in the first nine months of 2024, compared with the same period in 2023.
