The production of microfiber for 1 billion rubles was introduced in the Rostov region

OREANDA-NEWS Textile Legprom LLC (St. Petersburg) has introduced an import-substituting enterprise for the production of knitted fabrics in the city of Shakhty of the Rostov region, the press service of the governor of the region reports.
A weaving, dyeing and packaging workshops, warehouses for finished products and semi-finished products, and an administrative building have been built on the new production site. It is noted that the company has installed high-tech modern equipment.
The volume of investments in the project amounted to 1 billion rubles.
"The company is ready to produce up to 1.8 thousand tons of microfiber per year, this will reduce the dependence of our country on imports by 40-50%," said the governor of the region Vasily Golubev, whose words are quoted in the message.
The Governor also noted that in May 2023, another large modern production of polyester staple fiber will be introduced in the Mines – the Shakhty Polyester Plant, which will reduce dependence on imports.
The press release says that the Textile Legprom enterprise will be part of a single cluster with Avangard and Shakhty Polyester Plant.
The initiator of the investment project to create a plant for the production of polyester staple fiber in Shakhty, Rostov region is Avangard LLC (Tosno, Leningrad region), engaged in the production of non-woven textile materials and products made from them. The capacity of the enterprise will be 200 tons of fiber per day, 260 jobs will be created. The volume of investments in the project was initially estimated at 3 billion rubles, later its cost increased to 4.5 billion rubles.
The launch of the Shakhty Polyester Plant will make it possible to provide 100% of the current production of Avangard with raw materials that are currently being purchased abroad.
LLC "Textile Legprom" for the production of non-woven textile materials and products made of them, except clothing, was registered in September 2020 in St. Petersburg. According to the State Register of Legal Entities, the beneficiary is Elena Paseka.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the sole owner and CEO of Avangard LLC is Oleg Ryaboshapka. At the same time, Avangard owns 20% of Shakhty Polyester Plant LLC. In addition, LLC Avangard RND (production of non-woven textile materials and products made of them, except clothing) is registered in Shakhty, in which 25% belongs to Ryaboshapka.
