OREANDA-NEWS. Special repair and evacuation regiments began to be created as part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the repair of failed equipment.  This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

 The Ministry of Defense decided to form in the troops new repair and evacuation regiments equipped with mobile repair shops and heavy-duty tractors.  The first repair and restoration regiment has already been formed in the Urals, the second is being formed in Ugra.  In the future, such regiments will be created in all military districts.

 Such regiments will consist of repair and recovery battalions.  Evacuation equip tractors, tow trucks with wheel formula 8x8.  Also, the regiments will include several multi-functional highly mobile repair shops.
