OREANDA-NEWS. According to Notebookcheck portal, the South Korean manufacturer Samsung is preparing to announce a new mid-budget smartphone Galaxy A72, certified in India.

As noted, the Galaxy A series smartphones have been outperforming Samsung's flagships lately. Recently, the Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphone appeared in the popular Geekbench benchmark database.

It is known that the Galaxy A72 will receive two versions - with and without 5G support. It is known about the latter that it will be built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, and the RAM will be given as much as 8 GB. The smartphone will receive a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a hole for the front camera. The main camera unit will have four sensors - 64, 12, 5 and 5 megapixels. The 5G version will be completely identical, but it uses a different platform.

The smartphone will replace the popular Galaxy A71 model. The premiere of the novelty will take place in the near future, the cost of the gadget has not yet been disclosed. At the end of 2020, the A71 on the Russian market is sold for 29,000 rubles.

It is also reported about the release of another expected smmartphone in the mid-range price category. Realme - the fastest growing smartphone brand on the market at the end of 2020 - released the Realme 7 Pro smartphone in Russia at the end of the year.
