OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian universal unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Brazhnik" is planned to be put into mass production at the end of November following the results of resource tests. This was reported by TASS with reference to the official representative of the Sakhalin Center for Unmanned Technologies.

According to the interlocutor, the product is currently being tested, in particular, for strength characteristics and wear resistance. "Application scenarios for laser scanning of the terrain, objective monitoring, retransmission of the terrain and more are being tested," the organization said.

In the future, it is planned to use a civilian UAV in the zone of a special military operation.

Earlier, the government of the Sakhalin Region reported that a universal UAV "Brazhnik" was created and tested in the region.

The folding drone is capable of carrying cargo weighing up to ten kilograms, in particular, gas analyzers, laser scanners, thermal imagers and repeaters. The UAV can stay in the air for up to an hour. The drone is planned to be used in local logistics tasks, as well as monitoring activities.
