OREANDA-NEWS. The European headquarters of the American company Nike, located in the Dutch city of Hilversum, closed due to a coronavirus. This was reported on Monday by a news agency. According to the agency, the decision was made due to the fact that one of the employees of the company revealed a coronavirus. This is the brother of a man from Tilburg, whose first virus was discovered in the country.

The Nike building, which employs more than 2 thousand people from 80 countries, is still closed for two days - Monday and Tuesday. An infected employee must remain at home for at least two weeks. The rest of the company’s employees will be informed on Tuesday regarding the resumption of office operations.

According to the Dutch National Institute for Health and the Environment, a total of 10 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in the country at the moment.
