OREANDA-NEWS. Oleg Bocharov, a deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, told reporters that more than 30 countries made a request for the supply of mechanical ventilation apparatus.

“We want to use this situation in order to enter international markets. We believe that we have everything to concentrate our capacities and potential – not only in the field of mechanical ventilation apparatus, but also in the production of other sophisticated medical devices, and create a special program by the end of the year,” he said.

According to Bocharov, nowadays Russian enterprises are increasing the production of medical equipment “as it was during the Great Patriotic War.” In April, production is planned to be increased 8 times, in May – 25 times, and in June – 30 times.
