Moreover, its own production of dairy products, as well as fruits and vegetables, provides a significant part of domestic consumption. This was reported in the Ministry of Agriculture.

"The need for imported goods is insignificant and mainly falls on products that are not produced in our country due to climatic conditions," the ministry stressed.

In addition, Russian importers work with a wide range of suppliers from other countries. Thanks to this, the Russian domestic market is reliably protected, and risks to food security are simply excluded.

The press service of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation stated that all existing payment systems continue to function normally. However, the cards of banks that have fallen under "blocking" sanctions cannot work with ApplePay and GooglePay.

These contactless payment services have become unavailable to customers of VTB, Sovcombank, Novikombank, Promsvyazbank, and Otkritie. However, they can still use the plastic card itself for payment.

None of the international payment systems has ceased its activities on the territory of Russia. The regulator also emphasizes that the funds of all banks on the accounts linked to the cards are saved and available at any time.
