OREANDA-NEWS Advanced technology for the production of vegetable oils was developed in Kuzbass, the press service of the regional government reports.

"The specialists of the Biointech company (the city of Jurga) have developed an experimental line for the "green" alcohol extraction of vegetable oils. The technology makes it possible to obtain a high-quality product from seeds of any oilseed crops and production waste (sunflower husks, cake and meal, phosphatide concentrates). Such a processing process is five times faster than usual," the message says.

As noted in the press service, the vegetable oil obtained using the technology of Kuzbass scientists is comparable in quality to cold-pressed oil. Due to the use of waste and lower energy costs in the production process, due to the design features of the equipment, the cost of the finished product is also reduced.
