OREANDA-NEWS South Korean Samsung and American Apple have applied for documents to sell their new gadgets in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). According to the Kommersant newspaper, new smartphones are planned to be imported to Russia for certification.

In the register of certificates of conformity and declarations of conformity of the Federal Accreditation Service, applications for registration from the Russian division of Samsung Electronics have been submitted. Documents completed for the Galaxy A13 5G smartphone and models not yet announced. The Russian division of Apple is indicated by the applicant in the declarations, including for the Mac Studio computer and the Studio Display monitor.

Certification and declaration of new gadgets for the EAEU allows you to import gadgets, including to Russia, Kommersant explained. The head of the GS Group analytical center, Alexander Surkov, admitted that companies are counting on the fact that “turbulent events will end” and it will be possible to sell equipment in Russia again. Currently, Apple and Samsung do not supply their equipment to Russia.

Earlier it was reported that Russian retailers began test purchases and sales of goods as part of parallel imports.
