OREANDA-NEWS. Small and medium business, managed by members of one family, will be able to receive family status and claim state support. The draft law on the introduction of the concept of "family enterprise" in mid-July prepared the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Finance began to develop the parameters of a family patent. Among the experts and entrepreneurs interviewed by the Russian media, the majority agreed that concessional financing should be the main support under this law.
According to the latest survey among more than 2 thousand family-owned enterprises from 78 regions of Russia, 82% of respondents say that the labor market rules are extremely complicated, which force them not to formalize their relatives to work in the company. “That is, officially, in many cases, there is no family business, but in practice it exists”, the expert stressed. “It should be recognized that family business members are simply not motivated to formally work in their company because of the extremely high legislative overregulation”.
The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry believes that the creation of optimal working conditions for family businesses will contribute to its legalization and removal from the shadows, which, in turn, will allow for the growth of entrepreneurial activity and replenish regional budgets.
Often families organize business in difficult and not fully developed areas, where the choice of professional fields of activity may be limited. Therefore, relatives support each other and together organize their work. For example, business based in areas with difficult weather conditions is crucial to develop the infrastructure and landscaping of the surrounding area, notes entrepreneur Olga Gorskaya, who opened a children's cafe with her spouse in Murmansk "Happy".
