Belarus and Russia will jointly build a tire recycling plant in the Voronezh Region

OREANDA-NEWS Belarus and Russia have agreed to build a tire recycling plant in the Voronezh Region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the corporate publication "Bulletin of Belneftekhim".
As noted, the Russian Environmental Operator (REO) has concluded a corresponding agreement with the companies "Ecological Initiative" and "Belengineeringstroyinvest". The document was signed in Ufa on the sidelines of the X Forum of the Regions of Belarus and the Russian Federation. The cost of the project is estimated at 854 million Russian rubles.
It is reported that the project will be implemented on the territory of a special economic zone (SEZ) of industrial production type in the Voronezh region.
"We continue to develop cooperation with Belarusian partners. An agreement was signed at the forum, which involves cooperation in the field of handling secondary resources. In particular, we are talking about the processing of rubber products, used tires. Joint projects will be implemented on the principles of a closed-cycle economy aimed at maximizing the involvement of secondary resources in the economic turnover," commented Denis Butsaev, CEO of REO.
