Datsun introduced a new model for the Indian market
OREANDA-NEWS. Brand Datsun introduced the third model for the Indian market - hatchback with a high ground clearance Datsun redi-GO. Just two years after the release of the brand in the Indian market Datsun is expanding its product line in the country, by representing a new class of cars.
Datsun redi-GO is based on a versatile modular platform (CMF-A) of Renault-Nissan Alliance. The car is equipped with a new three-cylinder fuel-efficient engine with a displacement of 0.8 liters and a 5-speed ground clearance (185 mm).
"Strategy of Datsun growth in India reflects our commitment to design, construct and produce cars in the local market. Datsun redi-GO, as the material embodiment of this goal, in many ways is the leader in its class", - said the president of Nissan group of companies in India, Guillaume Sikkar.
