OREANDA-NEWS. Representatives of IDGC of Centre participated in the second meeting of the working group for professional standards of the Council for professional qualifications in the field of HR management. The event was held at the Institute of Practical Psychology of Higher School of Economics under the supervision of Deputy Chair of the Council Valentina Mitrofanova. From the company IDGC of Centre the meeting was attended by Head of HR Management Department Natalia Bulan and Head of Organizational Design Office Pavel Madyuskin.

The first item on the agenda of the working group meeting was to discuss the issue of allocation of qualifications to start developing assessment procedures. With a view to the selection of qualifications among the participants of the meeting in-person voting was held. The meeting participants were asked to choose not more than 4 qualifications of the proposed list, as well as to note in the development of what sets of assessment procedures they are willing to take part.

Then, the working group members moved on to discuss the need to create separate standards "Specialist in labour economics" and "Specialist in organizational design".

Deputy Chair of the Council presented graphically a report on the results of the project testing the professional standard "HR management specialist", conducted in 2015. Having considered the report, it was decided to collect comments on the professional standard, and following the results to hold several working meetings and develop a project of adjustments in the professional standard.

The next issue of the meeting was to discuss relations of "narrow standards" and already published ones in the field of HR management. The meeting participants were presented a comparative table on the standards "HR management specialist", "Recruiting specialist (recruiter)" and "Specialist for staff training and development" in terms of possible names of positions, professions, requirements for education and training and experience requirements for practical work.

In conclusion of the meeting, a presentation of the concept of the standard "Specialist in the field of coaching (coach)" was held.

According to Head of HR management Department of IDGC of Centre Natalia Bulan: - "Professional standards are intended to replace existing qualification directories, which have become obsolete because of their lack of a number of existing jobs. Also, we are still working on a system where benefits are tied to the standard name of the post and not to the functional, professional skills, knowledge and abilities of the employee. Implementation of professional standards will help reconsider this practice."
