Two upcoming presentations at the American Oil Chemists’ Society (AOCS) annual meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah will showcase an innovative solvent from Eastman Chemical Company that offers a unique combination of performance and safety. He’ll discuss the shrinking list of raw materials approved by regulators and third party influencers, and why that’s challenging for formulators who want to create powerful, yet sustainable hard-surface cleaners. Finally, he’ll examine Omnia as one example of a new solvent that complies with regulations and has powerful performance.

AOCS attendees can learn more about Eastman’s process of developing a new generation solvent that’s tough on a wide range of soils, but gentle on users and the environment. Carol Perkins, industry leader for industrial and household care at Eastman, will talk about how the Omnia story demonstrates what it means to innovate with intent.
