OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2016. In January-February 2016, Ukraine exported to the European Union agricultural goods to the tune of \\$787.5 million.

"After two months of 2016, the exports to the European Union amounted more than US\\$ 700 million. To demonstrate the efficiency of the DCFTA coming into effect I will inform on the total export showing on the outcomes of 2015 - it is US\\$4.2 billion", said Vladyslava Rutytska, the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for European Integration.

Moreover, she informed that as of early April the Ukrainian exporters had completely used export quotas provided to Ukraine under the DCFTA with the EU to supply with the following products: honey, sugar, barley cereals and flour, processed tomatoes, grape and apple juices, 97% of quota on oats.

"These are the quotas under the principle ‘first come – first served’. Regarding positions on the licensing principle, there has already been fully used up the quota for corn, 88% of that for wheat and a quarterly quota for the export of poultry", said the Deputy Minister.
