OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2016. Bosch eBike Systems reports strong attendance during the 2015/16 training course season. Between October 2015 and March 2016 a total of 8,200 eBike dealers attended around 180 courses in 69 cities in 13 countries. The training courses were held in preparation for the forthcoming eBike season and provided dealers with useful hints on technology and service.

eBikers expect competent dealer service
The training courses are held across Europe by twelve Bosch eBike Systems technical consultants. All of them have many years of industry experience and in-depth technical knowledge. They are also available to help and advise attendees outside of the course hours. “Pedelec users expect their dealer to provide a competent service. We at Bosch eBike Systems are well aware of this requirement and our courses are designed to prepare dealers in the best possible way to deal with their customers' different queries and requirements. The dealers receive valuable hints on the technical innovations and are thereby able to work more effectively and efficiently,” says Ulrich Lippmann, service manager at Bosch eBike Systems.

Focus on Performance Line CX and Nyon
The focal points in this year's training season were the Performance Line CX, developed for eMountain bikers and the most powerful drive system in the Bosch range, and the all-in-one on-board computer Nyon and its software updates. The new functions of the eBike diagnostic system were also important. An overview of the latest market developments, trends and target group requirements rounded off the programme.
“The technical consultants,” Lippmann says, “successfully taught Bosch eBike service know-how and discussed with attendees current examples from day-to-day business. The response on both sides was thoroughly positive.”
Due to the strong demand Bosch eBike Systems is offering four extra courses in May and June in Bad Urach and Bremen for which interest can be registered on the dealers' portal at https://ebike.bosch.com/de/.
