OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Porsche began to take orders for the new Macan crossover with initial equipment at the price of 3,686,000 rubles. The most available version of the model will be on sale in June of 2016. Earlier, prices of Macan in the base configuration began from 4,388,000 rubles for a car with a 3.0-liter V6 with a capacity of 340 hp.

The new version Macan received four-turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, which develops 252 hp in the range from 5000 to 6800 rev / min, and it is offered with standard equipment with a 7-speed gearbox Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). With the new engine Macan accelerates to 100 km / h in 6.7 seconds, and with the optional Sport Chrono Package, the time is shortened to 6.5 seconds. Top speed is 229 km / h. As for fuel consumption, depending on selected tires, the turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the NEDC cycle consumes in average from 7.4 l / 100 km to 7.2 l / 100 km. 

Among the external differences the new basic version Macan differs by matte-black strips of the side windows, black brake calipers of 18-inch wheels and an exhaust system with two single tailpipes in brushed stainless steel. Basic equipment is largely focused on the model of S. For example, Macan is equipped with comfortable seats with eight-electric mode on the driver's side, the trimmed with Alcantara center of seat, Porsche Communication Management of the latest generation, as well as a warning system of lane and automatic rear lid actuation.
