Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training Secures Orders from Allegiant and Hawaiian Airlines
OREANDA-NEWS. Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) Commercial Flight Training added contracts from Allegiant and Hawaiian Airlines to its list of orders for full flight simulators.
At the end of 2015, the company signed a purchase agreement for an A320 full flight simulator for Hawaiian Airlines, which currently owns an A330 full flight simulator provided by LMCFT. This contract signified the twelfth simulator order for LMCFT last year.
The Allegiant A320 simulator purchase kicked off 2016 making it the first contract of the year for LMCFT. Allegiant, in partnership with Avenger Flight Group, trains on LMCFT simulators at their facility in Las Vegas, Nevada and will add this device to their equipment portfolio.
“LMCFT’s customers recognize the training efficiency built into the simulators,” said Sandy Samuel, vice president of Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training. “LMCFT looks forward to continuing its relationship with Allegiant and Hawaiian as we work toward delivering the devices.”
LMCFT offers a complete suite of commercial aviation training products and services including Airbus A320, A330 and A340 and Boeing 737, 767, 777 and 787 full flight simulators. The company also provides training services through its international commercial aviation training centers based in S?o Paulo, Brazil, and Incheon, South Korea.
