OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2016. In March 2016, the State Fiscal Service ensured revenues of the budget worth UAH 60.3 billion from taxes and fees. It is a record sum for the entire history of the Service, said at a press conference Chairman of the SFS Roman Nasirov.

According to him, such above-target performance was achieved along two directions: tax payments and customs duties. Such results have proved possible due to introducing de-shadowing measures, the effective fight against conversion centers and tax optimization.

Overall, during first quarter of 2016 the amount worth UAH 140.7 billion have been collected which exceeds by UAH 35.3 billion the amount of taxes collected throughout the corresponding period of last year. Indicative showings were fulfilled at 13.8%, there were additionally transferred UAH 14.3 billion to the general fund of the state budget.

High revenue performance was ensured from payment of value-added tax with the average monthly figure making up UAH 11.9 in the first quarter. While the relevant average monthly indicators of last year were at the level of UAH 8.9 billion.

As of 1 April of the current year, the monetary amounts reimbursed to the taxpayers equal UAH 22.2 billion which makes up twofold amount of funds against the corresponding period of last year.
