OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2016. Nissan's College 100 program launched its first "Nissan's Ultimate Access" lacrosse sweepstakes (#NissanUltimateAccess) across 32 U.S. colleges and universities. This sweepstakes, which runs through April 30, gives lacrosse super-fans a chance to meet Nissan's lacrosse ambassador, and lacrosse legend, Casey Powell, and win four tickets to the NCAA Lacrosse Championships in Philadelphia Memorial Day weekend.

"Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States," said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications and Media, Nissan North America. "By launching our first lacrosse "Ultimate Access" sweepstakes, Nissan will leverage the excitement surrounding the sport nationwide. We're eager to hit the road and start meeting lacrosse super fans while we drive awareness of our innovative and exciting product lineup through our College 100 program."

Campus events promoting the lacrosse sweepstakes will take place in the Northeast, where the sport is the most established, as well as in the Midwest, South and Northwest, regions where the sport is experiencing the most growth. Lacrosse fans can meet with Nissan representatives to register for a chance win the sweepstakes at "Nissan's Ultimate Access" campus events and at Nissan dealers near the select College 100 lacrosse schools.

Casey Powell is considered to be one of the best lacrosse players of all time. At Syracuse he was a four-time all-American and two-time National Player of the Year. In 1995, his collegiate team won the NCAA Lacrosse Championship. For the past 15 seasons, he's played Major League Lacrosse and represented the United States at the World Lacrosse Championship, serving as captain of team USA in 2006, 2011 and 2015.

In addition to the lacrosse campus events, the "Nissan's Ultimate Access" lacrosse sweepstakes will be promoted at all April College 100 activations and on 32 select ChooseNissan.com landing pages for colleges that have a lacrosse program.
