Convergys celebrates 3 years in Honduras
OREANDA-NEWS. Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), the global provider of customer management, is celebrating 3 successful years in Honduras. Initially opening its first contact center in 2013, with just 50 employees, Convergys now employs over 750 people in San Pedro Sula, providing a range of customer care and technical support services to internationally recognized clients in English, and Spanish.

As part of their commitment with the community and with the country, Convergys has made significant donations to a variety of institutions and organizations, promoting volunteerism and social responsibility. Thanks to our partnership with World Vision, more than 400 children have received school supplies, books and food to help them continue with their education. Convergys volunteers also helped build new bathrooms, painted the school and created a reading center.
During these three years in the country, Convergys has also provided over 17.000 hours of training to the team, and promoted more than 100 employees, thus contributing to the professional development and success of our people in Honduras.
